Applying for a job at HUS

1. Explore HUS as a workplace

2. Apply for an open position

Explore our open positions and apply for the position of your choice using the electronic application form in our system. During the application period, you can request for more details on the open position by contacting the person indicated on the job posting. The duration of the application period is usually 2–4 weeks. Go ahead and apply for open positions and job opportunities by just filling out the application!

  • Log in using your email address and carefully fill out all the fields in the application form. Attachments should be attached in PDF format. You can attach, for example, your free form CV and a letter of application.
  • Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a verification code via email, which you need to append or enter into the new browser window that opens. The code will confirm your identity and your application so that we are able to store it in our recruitment system for the exact position for which you have applied. You can also confirm your application in your candidate profile so that we are able to align it with the position for which you have applied.
  • We will send you a message once we have received your application. 

3. First interviews

We will call you within two weeks of the application deadline to arrange for the first interview.  

In the first interview, we always want to know more about you. So, please be prepared to share information both on your skills as well as details about you as a person. What is important to you in your work? What kind of a colleague and member of the work community do you feel you are? You can also prepare any questions you would like to ask us.  

A scheduled video interview coming up?  

Sometimes we use video links for communications in getting to know you better. It may make you feel a bit nervous, but we understand if your nervousness is showing through. So just be yourself, as if we were meeting face-to-face. What you share with us is always the main thing, even if it takes you a little longer to find the right words.  

Therefore, keep checking your email, as invitations to any potential video interviews will be sent to the email address you have provided via Recright before the actual invitation to the interview.  

Facing a psychological personnel assessment?  

When recruiting for leadership and expert positions, we also utilize psychological assessments of candidates. The results and feedback can be shared with you after the recruitment process, and you will then have a chance to ask for any details.

4. We will notify you of our recruitment decision

We will inform all those who have submitted their job application for an open position of our recruitment decisions at the end of the recruitment process by either calling or sending an email.  

5. Starting in a new position

Have you been selected for a position? Congratulations! You will receive a request via email to provide additional personal information before we sign your employment contract.
