Our goal is to support your functional capacity and your independent performance in your operating environment and life situation. We provide you with personalized and versatile service related to mobility, transportation, household management, housing equipment, and personal hygiene.
Our service includes identifying the need for assistive equipment, assessment of the need, choice of assistive equipment, the procurement, delivery and use of equipment, as well as providing instructions on use of the equipment. In addition, we will provide the following services: monitoring of use, maintenance and repair, and return, storage and recycling of assistive equipment.
For the purchase of assistive equipment for individual medical rehabilitation, you need a physician's referral or a physiotherapist's medical certificate. Such assistive equipment include prostheses, orthotics and supports, individual footrests, orthopedic footwear, and wigs.
The service point is primarily at the Assistive Technology Centerl, Raseborgsvägen 37, Ekenäs. If necessary, you can also get service at the health centers in Hanko, Ingå, Karis and Pojo.
