In the Child Psychiatric Evaluation, Acute and Consultation Unit, we are responsible for the examination, urgent treatment, and consultations of children aged 6–12 years.
We also carry out short targeted treatment periods.
We work in cooperation with the families. We meet with the child and the parents both together and separately. With parental consent, and when needed, we can also cooperate with the school, social services, and those who have previously treated the child.
We process the referrals sent to pediatric psychiatry. Some of the referrals are directed to the treatment clinics.
Patient Guide
The Patient Guide answer the most common questions patients may have before, during, and after treatment.
