We are an outpatient unit of specialized psychiatric care.
You can come to us for treatment with a physician’s referral or according to the treatment plan through your existing psychiatric care.
We offer:
- enhanced and rehabilitative outpatient care when conventional outpatient care is not sufficient
- activating therapy (social isolation and challenges with daily life)
- care for young people at risk of social exclusion
- transitional care in the intermediate phase between ward and outpatient care
- multidisciplinary work ability assessment.
Our treatment:
- is based on a treatment plan drawn up together with you
- is fixed-term, activating, and goal-oriented
- is group-form, practical, and strengthens the patient’s skills
- aims to stabilize your condition, strengthen your life management, and support your functional capacity
- if necessary, there is diagnostic and functional capacity assessment
- includes evaluation, planning and guidance to the necessary follow-up treatment
- is implemented in multidisciplinary cooperation with your network, loved ones, and those participating in your care.
Your treatment period includes two to four treatment days per week. Treatment days include group and individual meetings, time spent in the community, meals and meetings with loved ones and networks. In the groups, we learn about and discuss symptom management and guide patients to independent training, in addition to which there are various functional groups. Treatment is free of charge for you. A penalty fee in accordance with HUS guidelines will be charged for an uncanceled no-show appointment.
You must pay for travel and medicine costs yourself.
