Leppävaara laboratory operates at a reduced capacity starting August 19, 2024, due to water damage restoration
During the restoration work, fewer bookable appointments will be available and we will not perform supervised urine sample collection for drug testing. The size of the waiting area in the laboratory will be limited during the restoration, and we recommend that you make an appointment to visit the laboratory.
You can book an appointment to a HUS laboratory online at huslab.fi/booking or by calling the number 09 471 86800 weekdays 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
The restoration will take approximately 1 to 3 months. The completion of the restoration work will be announced separately.
At the Leppävaara laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments, but we also have a take-a-number queue system. We recommend booking an appointment.
All clients arriving at the laboratory must register at the self-registration kiosk on the 3rd floor. Clients will be served by queue number (queue A) until 2:30 p.m. After 2:30 p.m., only clients who want to collect or return a sample container (queue B) and urgent patients and children (queue C) will be served by queue number.
Urine sample containers for most common urine tests are available in the lobby. You don’t need an appointment to pick up such containers. There is also a box where you can return most common samples taken at home until 2:30 p.m. without needing to book an appointment.
