At the Tapiola laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments, but we also have a take-a-number queue system. We recommend booking an appointment.
For the time being, we serve customers from the queue (A-queue) until 2 p.m. After 2 p.m. we only serve those patients who pick up or return sample containers (B-queue) and emergency patients (C-queue).
Our laboratory is at the Tapiola health center.
For urgent sampling, you do not need to book an appointment. You may also pick up and return sample containers without booking an appointment.
We accept referrals from private physicians.
Whooping cough and corona sampling
We take whooping cough and corona samples on weekdays from 7:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please be in contact with your health center before arriving for sampling because you need a referral for sampling.
Please note that you must wear a face mask when you come for sampling. If necessary, you can find the mask in the entrance hall next to registration.
Use the H button to take a number from the shift number machine and wait for your turn in the lobby.
Book an appointment online (opens in new window, links to another website)
You can book a laboratory appointment online. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
Examinations always require a referral. See here for more information on preparing for and arriving to examinations, and on receiving the results.
