In Hyvinkää Hospital Intermediate Care Unit, we treat adult patients who have developed severe, but transient failures in their vital processes as a consequence of diseases, accidents or surgical procedures.
Intermediate care unit patients require constant monitoring and care, as well as treatment methods and equipment developed for intensive care. The patient can be transferred to intermediate care from the Emergency Clinic, the surgical unit, an inpatient ward at Hyvinkää Hospital or another hospital, and directly from outside the hospital by prehospital emergency care.
The Hyvinkää Hospital Intermediate Care unit is located in the immediate vicinity of the Emergency Clinic on floor P of the hospital.
Visiting Hours
Due to the nature of the ward and because your loved one needs rest, visitors are only allowed to stay for approximately 30 minutes.
