Patients with infections come to our inpatient ward from inpatient wards of other specialties, emergency departments, intermediate or intensive care units. Patients with skin diseases or rheumatism generally come to the inpatient ward as scheduled in advance and by appointment.
We mainly treat the following groups of patients requiring specialized medical care of the most demanding level:
- patients with a severe sudden generalized infection
- patients whose treatment requires specific precautions
- patients with a fever of unknown origin, or whose diagnostics or treatment is otherwise especially challenging
- extensive skin diseases that are difficult to diagnose and treat
- severe reactions to medication
- severe wounds
- skin infections that require intravenous antibiotics
- patients with severe rheumatic disease
Our ward has 12 beds, of which 4 are single rooms.
