In the nutritional care offered by New Children’s Hospital, we provide dietary guidance, which includes nutritional assessment and the evaluation of food intake.
A child may need nutritional care, for example, due to illness or performed procedures.
Nutritional care promotes recovery, improves quality of life and supports the growth and development of a child. Our goal is to ensure the child’s intake of energy and nutrients and the development of age-related eating habits. Nutritional care also includes the nutritional guidance related to the promotion of health and prevention of illnesses.
Treatment is offered based on a physician’s referral.
