On Ward Taika, we treat patients with cancer or hematological diseases as well as stem cell transplantation patients, and kidney, liver and organ transplantation patients.
The child’s guardians can stay with the child around the clock. One guardian at a time may spend the night at the ward. Most of our rooms are single rooms with private bathrooms. During their stay in the hospital, the child can engage in play, games or any other pleasant activities if they feel well enough to do so.
Please do not come to the hospital if you have a contagious disease (such as an intestinal infection or a respiratory infection). Our ward personnel will provide further information if necessary.
At the ward, you will have access to a patient tablet computer with information about the hospital and games to play and programs to watch. We also utilize the tablet computer in providing treatment-related guidance.
Patient Guide
The Patient Guide answer the most common questions patients may have before, during, and after treatment.
