In the Maternity Outpatient Clinic at Porvoo Hospital, we treat pregnant women. You will arrive for treatment at our clinic on the basis of a referral from a maternity health clinic's (neuvola) physician, a public health nurse, or a private physician or, in cases of emergency, on the basis of a phone call to the callback service (tel. 019 548 3105).
At the Maternity Outpatient Clinic, midwives conduct prenatal ultrasonography screenings. You will receive the appointments for ultrasound screenings via letter to your home address.
We also treat:
- gestational diabetes
- symptoms of hypertension
- twin pregnancy
- breech
- fear of childbirth
- liver problems
- post-term pregnancy
- method of delivery assessment
We also organize clinics for fear of childbirth and themes such diabetes, breastfeeding and baby issues (POVA).
