Our Swedish-speaking ward at the Psychiatry Center is an acute/general psychiatric ward with 12 beds, which serves as a reception and treatment ward for patients requiring immediate hospital care.
Treatment is offered based on a physician’s referral. Psychiatric inpatient ward care is provided either as voluntary or involuntary treatment.
Our ward is suitable for the treatment of severe mental health disorders when outpatient support and measures are not sufficient. Referral to treatment with us may be based on, for example, psychosis, severe depressive disorder, mania, acute suicidal crisis, severe personality disorder crisis, or psychosis brought on by substance abuse.
Examination and treatment will be symptomatic and individual and it will be based on a treatment plan drawn up together with you and your outpatient care services. A multidisciplinary team is in charge of your treatment. A primary nurse will also be appointed for you for the duration of the treatment period. Your treatment includes, for example, medication, treatment discussions, group work, family and network meetings and, if necessary, services of special workers and neuromodulation treatments.
We value genuine care and support your resources and active participation!
