The Pediatric Outpatient Clinic is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Please arrive at the hospital in plenty of time, around 15 minutes before your appointment time. On your first appointment, you will need to register and we will go through the Kanta services at the patient office at the main entrance. A self-registration kiosk is available for registration at the main entrance and on the ground floor.
For your first appointment, please bring the following:
- Child health clinic card, neuvolakortti (children under school age)
- Height and weight data from the school health service (school children)
- Any other forms which you have received and completed in connection with your appointment invitation to the appointment
Specialists in pediatrics and pediatric neurology work at the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic. Pediatricians have appointments on weekdays, while a pediatric cardiologist is available 2-3 times a year. The neurologist is available two days a week. A speech therapist and neuropsychologist have appointments couple of times a month. Nurses with various areas of responsibility work at the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic.
We work with nutritional therapists, physiotherapists, SAH (hospital-affiliated home care), child and adolescent psychiatrists, child protection, child health clinic (neuvola), school healthcare, social workers, and various therapists within primary care.
