At the Samaria X-ray unit we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment. In the same facility, there is also a laboratory.
We perform plain X-ray examinations, i.e. bone and chest imaging without an appointment. You can come in for X-ray examinations when it best suits you.
The unit is located at the Samaria health center. Come in through the main entrance and then take the elevator down to the K floor.
If you are visually impaired, you will find the hospital porters’ desk on the right after the main door. The employee at the desk will guide you to the X-ray unit.
We do not have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. List of our units with patient lifts.
We conduct examinations for customers from HUS area health centers and hospitals.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
Examinations always require a referral. See here for more information on preparing for examinations, on receiving the results, and instructions on ordering copies of your images.
