Patient lifts
A patient lift is available at many of our imaging service locations, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table.
If you need to use a patient lift, please call in advance to the relevant unit. This will ensure that the patient lift is available.
A patient lift may be required if you need to move on to an imaging table. For basic X-ray imaging, the patient needs to get up on the imaging table when the imaging cannot be performed with the patient sitting in the wheelchair. For detailed information on individual examinations, see the patient instructions .
A patient lift is not required if you are able to move from the wheelchair to the imaging table on your own. If necessary, we will assist in moving you.

How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
