The Oncology Outpatient Clinic will book you an appointment for the examination. You will be informed of the appointment by letter. We perform these examinations:
- mammography
- computed tomography
- ultrasound examinations and procedures
- bone densitometry.
We have access to a patient lift when needed, e.g., for patients who use a wheelchair. If you need a patient lift, please contact us in advance so we will have it ready for you. More information about patient lifts.

You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
