We perform plain X-ray examinations (bones, chest, scoliosis, long bones, mechanical axis) without appointment. You can come in for imaging examinations when it best suits you.
Other examinations require an appointment. The appointment will be made for you, and you will be informed by letter. You can make an appointment for ultrasound examinations by calling our customer service.
We carry out examinations for the HUS area health center and hospital customers.
We have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. Please call us in advance if you need to use a patient lift. More information about patient lifts.
Please note that emergency patients requiring urgent care will be taken to imaging first, so other patients may need to wait.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
