Clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, Jorvi Hospital
Keywords:Jorvi Hospital’s main entrance will be closed for construction starting September 1
The construction site of the new ward building at Jorvi Hospital will expand at the end of August 2024, and the main entrance to the existing hospital building will be closed. The ramp leading to the main entrance will be demolished and access to Jorvi Hospital will be via other routes until January 2026.
At the Jorvi Hospital, we conduct clinical physiology and nuclear medicine examinations by appointment.
The main door of Jorvi Hospital will be closed on September 1, 2024 due to renovation. During the renovation, the entrance to our unit is via the connecting tunnel from Espoo Hospital or from the outside at Karvasmäentie 8 B. When you arrive, register at the registration machine.
The clinical physiology and nuclear medicine unit is located on two separate floors in the main Jorvi Hospital building.
1st floor
Clinical physiology tests (bone densitometry, Holter, Zenicor, blood pressure monitoring, lung function tests, clinical exercise stress tests, and ABI measurements) are done on the first floor (room A1.067) near the Emergency Department.
For now, we cannot perform bone densitometry to patients who have an electronic implant (such as a cardiac pacemaker, neurostimulator, or a glucose sensor).
2nd floor
Nuclear medicine tests, iodine treatment, stress perfusion scans, and ultrasound examinations are done on the second floor, near the hospital's flower shop.
