HUS year 2023: Research, education and development
In 2023, we granted 825 research permits, of which 335 for new research projects. This was clearly more than in the previous year.
Improvement of research services
The introduction of the quarterly reporting system significantly improved the data management and reporting of the unit. We also clarified our research and data access permit process.
Teaching and training
The roadmap for teaching at HUS was completed. The purpose of the roadmap is to streamline the path for potential applicants to HUS and to treat students respectfully and equally.
Research infrastructures
We set an all-time record for EU funding received by HUS, and we were among the top 16 EU-funded organizations in Finland.
