HUS year 2023: Personnel
In 2023, we had nearly 27,500 employees. We strengthened recruitment and improved personnel availability towards the end of the year. Indeed, our personnel increased on the previous year. Promoting a good employee experience was one of the most important goals of the year under review.
Supervisors and leadership
At HUS, leadership is based on management by coaching that is appreciative, interactive, inclusive and inspiring. The goal is to create an active, developmental approach to work and excellent multiprofessional cooperation for the benefit of clients.
Strategic HR planning
One of the focus areas for the HUS strategy period 2023–2027 is the employee experience. Our goal is to be “the most attractive workplace”. In 2023, we launched a strategic HR planning project as part of our development of the employee experience.
Wellbeing at work
In 2023, we invested in promoting a good employee experience in all aspects of wellbeing at work. The motto of our wellbeing at work program 2022–2025 – Healthy at work, healthy at home – summarizes the wide range of efforts for wellbeing at work at HUS.
Pay and rewards
A strategic goal for 2023 was to investigate how to develop pay and rewards in the period 2024 to 2026.
